Adopt-a-light Ltd is the first company to introduce high-mast lighting for major highways like Thika Road and Slum lighting in informal settlements like
- Kibera,
- Mathare,
- Korogocho etc
as well as other open spaces like Uhuru Park and Central Park.
These high masts are 30 meters high and light up an area of not less than 90, 000 square meters providing light to over 7, 500 homes in a densely populated slum. This project has been tested and proven to have provided a conducive environment for productive economic activities among the slum dwellers.
